Certification of welding and NDT personnel



Certification Body for certification of welding and NDT personnel (hereinafter CB) is accredited by the Slovak National Accreditation Service - SNAS since 1998 according to the requirements of STN EN ISO/IEC 17024. Accreditation allows CB to perform certification of welding personnel, non-destructive testing and cathodic protection to the extent of their accreditation O-002.

Accredited entity VÚZ Certification Body for certification of welding and NDT personnel declares that it understands and respects the principle of ensuring impartiality, objectivity and confidentiality throughout the entire certification process according to the requirements of STN EN ISO/IEC 17024:2013 and CB Quality Manual. The CB provides all qualified professionals with access to their Qualified Listing through a WPM account www.wpm.sk.

Furthermore, CB provides the Mandate for Welding Technologist, to examinate welders and soldering specialist from the safety regulations in force in the Slovak Republic.

In the field of cathodic protection, we offer testing and certification of persons in qualifications according to the STN EN 15257 for the following application sectors:

  • underground and immersed metallic structures;
  • marine metallic structures;
  • reinforced concrete structures;
  • inner surfaces of metallic container structures.

In the field of ND, we offer testing and certification of persons for non-destructive testing for 1st, 2nd and 3rd level of qualification according to the STN EN ISO 9712 for all bellow mentioned NDT methods and product and industrial sectors.
