Machines and technologies for thermal cutting

The plasma and oxy-acetylene cutting centres type VÚZ - PLASMACUTTER are destined for a precise shape cutting of plates (made of structural and stainless steels, aluminium, copper, titanium and their alloys) up to 3000 mm wide, with length up to 15000 mm, by plasma up to 50 mm in thickness and by oxy-acetylene flame even up to 150 mm in thickness.

The cutting centre contains:

  • Modular work table with grating for carrying the cut plate.
  • The gentry moving along the work table and a support carrying the cutting heads moving across the table.
  • One or two cutting heads with a vertical motion support for the in-feed motion of torch to the cut material.
  • Plasma power source with a torch for cutting with compressed air, oxygen of mixture of gases as Ar, He and N and/or gas distribution system with an oxygen-acetylene torch.
  • CNC multi-processor control and programming system.
  • CAD-CAM programming system. 
  • Sectional system for extraction of cutting fumes.
  • Multi-stage filtration system for separation of the solid, gaseous and ionised burning products.
